Big reshuffle 2023
At the end of every season in CS:GO we usually grab popcorn, sit back and watch the reshuffle dramas unfold. But this time around it feels different, as not only the season has ended, but we’re about to face a new version of the game. The stakes are higher than ever. Here are some of the most interesting transfers that have already happened, and some that might happen soon.
NAVI
Out: Perfecto, Electronic, npl.
In: jL, iM, Aleksib (stand-ins).
The biggest and most shocking one yet. One of the most successful teams in recent history has come to an end. There were a lot of premises for this reshuffle, but it still caught a lot of people off guard. Perfecto and Electronic are rumored to play together in their next team (a lot of people are speculating that it’s going to be Cloud 9), while npl’s future isn’t so bright as the young talent’s run with the first team wasn’t that convincing.
Aleksib looks like an interesting option for IGL, while the other too may or may not fit in — only time will tell.
Astralis
Out: Xyp9x, gla1ve.
In: Staehr, b0RUP.
The Danish team used to be a powerhouse, but it’s been going through a rough patch for…quite some time. The changes were needed, so Xyp9x and gla1ve, two renown veterans, were benched, and in their stead the four-time Major winning club brought in fresh blood. While b0RUP has been around for years now, he’s still relatively young, and Staehr is only 18 years of age. These boys have very big shoes to fill.
Team Spirit
Out: S1ren, Patsi, W0nderful.
In: ???
Team Spirit is currently down to a two-men squad. Some insiders suggest that their next roster will be incredibly strong, therefore creating the rumors about a lot of well-known players, such as Jerry, zorte, KaiR0N- and even a duo from NAVI, but as things stand right now, there’s no certainty.
Complexity
Out: FaNg.
In: EliGE.
EliGE has been one of the most consistent players in the pro scene in the last 6 years. Since 2017, he’s been in HLTV’s top-20 5 times! The American has incredible experience and amazing individual skill, so this is a big win for CoL.
